Maia Sandu, new President of the Republic of Moldova

Maia Sandu, former Ministry of Education in Moldova and present candidate to the seat of President, is photographed in the streets of Chisinau shortly before the elections of 2016, where she lost on a slim count against Igor Dodon on the run-offs. On the elections of November 15th 2020, facing anew President Igor Dodon, she was elected this time, leading a change in the country.
